Sparkling Rose Ice Wine

Sparkling Rose Ice Wine

A rare rosé ice wine made from a combination of Vidal Blanc and Chambourcin grapes, with fine, mousse-like bubbles made in the méthode champenoise tradition. Rich, complex notes of strawberry and raisin; balanced by smooth, mousse-like bubbles.

While a 375ml bottle of ice wine might not always be consumed by a party of four, this one generally is. The bubbles and the interesting strawberry notes of this wine are captivating and a delicious pairing for many desserts including strawberries dipped in chocolate, or a pound cake with a fine drizzle of chocolate or strawberry or both!

"A rosy, copper-colored sparkling ice wine by Johnson Estate with delicate bubbles that lift the wine’s sweetness. Honeyed fruit and dried herbal aromatics on the nose give way to orange blossom, macerated strawberries with cream, ruby red grapefruit, and apricot. Crafted from a blend of 75% Chambourcin and 25% Vidal Blanc that were frozen on the vine at harvest, then treated in the traditional method style." Maiah Johnson Dunn- Decanter.
